I'm an Austin-based director of photography and cinematographer with over fifteen years of continuous work in the field. My own production company runs alongside an ongoing freelance relationship with Framewave Media dating back nearly a decade, a newer one with Merit Productions since 2024, and a parallel career in narrative shorts dating back to 2012. That narrative work started as camera and grip and has grown, on my most recent project, into producing, sound, and stills — including an earlier documentary on Texas lowrider culture that premiered at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. My personal kit is a RED Monstro paired with Leica R and Mamiya 645 glass, but I move just as easily across other brands and workflows — whatever a production already has running. Whether I'm directing my own shoot, operating camera for someone else, or covering a live event with no second take, it comes down to the same instinct: get it right the first time.
